Window and Mirror is a personal reflection over the condition of architecture and photography.

While shooting the Landesmuseum in Zürich, by Christ&Gantenbein Architekten, the idea was not to shoot the building in its entirety, but instead to concentrate on what the camera is not capturing.
The surroundings, the trees and the existing building, project themselves over the new extension.
The new wing of the museum, with its materiality, creates that necessary support where the shadows come to life and tell us a story, the skin of the building evolves into a canvas. The camera is the window open to the scene, the scene is a mirror showing what the camera does not frame. The architecture becomes literally a representation.
